01 About the Book
Suffolk has always rewarded curiosity. From coast to countryside, its food and drink scene isn’t driven by trends or noise, but by people quietly doing things well. This project began not as a guide or a cookbook, but as a search for stories - those formed of early mornings and late nights, of ambition, craft and commitment in an industry built around community.

Over the course of a year, Adam & Hannah met the people shaping Suffolk’s food and drink culture from the inside out: winemakers, chefs, bakers and business owners who measure success in loyalty, community and getting it right. Through conversations and photography, this book brings together the stories of 30 businesses, connected by a shared belief that doing things properly still matters and that good food & drink, made well, will always bring people together.
